    Botero Race Team: Photos needed

I am looking for a photo/photos of the #35 RSR that Honorato Espinosa drove at the 1979 Daytona Finale please. I believe that it may have had AIR bodywork, was silver. The car was one of the many that was wrecked in the big accident at the end of the race.

Is that when the rain unloaded on the back straight? Amazing no one was killed.

Yes, that's right. Bill Whittington's 935 won but was badly damaged. (Results were taken as at the lap before the accident). Espinosa's RSR hit him and that car was badly damaged also, Espinosa suffering a broken heel. It's photos of that car, before/during the race, that I'm looking for.

I've always had luck getting Daytona pictures from Bill Warner but you probably have already asked him.

    Thank you.

I haven't! Thanks for the heads up.
