    Targa Vent Window Question

    HI,

Would appreiciate some info on the Targa Vent Window lever. I notice in the parts catalog that there are two options, 1) black plastic cover over lever 2) longer chrome lever (no black plastic). The cataloge does not mention any year info.

I am keen to understand what would have been correct for a 71 911T Targa, German Delivered.

    Thanks!

If it was German delivery but a US car, it would have the black plastic covers on the levers. The Feds deemed the bare metal lever dangerous in a collision. Change happened in 1968.
If it's a ROW car, no idea.

    Thanks Tony.

I believe it was a German delivery, not a US car.

On a related matter, does anyone know where to source the black plastic covers as I am missing one...haven't found one on the usual parts websites to date.

    Thanks!
