Thread: Shorten GT3 Head Stud for an engine rebuild?

  1. #11

Porsche GT3 Stud delivered from Porsche Dealer this morning and clearly sticking firmly to a magnet.

My conclusion is that this stud is not made from Dilavar and that a standard steel stud will do just the same job.

    Hello Chris,
thanks a lot for your feedback.... I made similar experiences. The newer charges of these studs are magnetic. I had one charge form 2013 and these weren't magnetic. So I will go to the standard steel ones...
