Good call Clyde on not installing the side markers. Have you thought about the 1 year only 15 x 5.5" Fuchs made for the 68s ?

Not really as the car had steel chromes from new so thought I would get it back to that spec.

hello clyde, very nice car. what colour is that? Are you sure you want to reinstall the wobbly standard seats? would have one or the other swb recaro sports seat. but of course not cheap .... greetings and have fun with the great car. best

    Hi Uwe

Its is 6808, Burgundrot in your language Burgundy Red in mine

I already have a set of 68 sports seats you sold me the runners for them a while back but in any event
won't put them in this car as it never had them originally.

I also won't put the comforts in either but might have them re done just for show.

Need info on the front trunk carpet, I know it is perlon with side binding

I gather no snaps for the side pieces based on pics I have seen but my car which is a very late 68 car has the snap receivers inside the luggage bay.

    Any thoughts on that?

Should there be a cut out for the brake fluid resevoir like there is for the shocks?

Ah burgundy, a friend had a 2.2 S in color. the swb is really good! my 911S swb was in tangerine - i thought that was the best color for the car. In the meantime, I see the tangerine as too pleasing and I like most other swb colors better. Burgundrot is now included. greeting
