Hella SWB U.S. Sealed Beam Headlights - Restored

    ** SOLD **

    6/12/18: PRICE DROP - now $750.00
    7/5/18: PRICE DROP - now $695.00

These are similar to the set I offered a couple of weeks ago except they are equipped with incandescent sealed beams for maximum originality.

As I mentioned before, these Hella assemblies are getting hard to find. And when you find them the sellers are very proud ($$$). I suspect a lot of them were simply thrown out and replaced by H4's. Here's an original set restored as follows: Hella buckets refurbished; new correct logo Hella lenses; new trim rings; original headlight rings refurbished; new adjustment screws; incandescent sealed beam lamps.

I'd be glad to provide these with halogen sealed beams for better lighting if you prefer.

    Enthusiast Price: $850.00 plus shipping

    Thanks for looking.

    Cheers,
    John

OK, it’s taking food out of the mouths of my babies (at least it would if I had babies), but I’m going to go ahead and lower the price of these. I think they’re fairly priced at $850.00 as I’ve seen them offered at $1,000+, but let’s drop it to $800.00.

    Cheers,
    John

    John,
    Few points:
Are these correct for a 911L 1968 swb driven in Continental Europe ? I do have currently sealed beam headlights but UK tuned
if so hope you are ok shipping them to France with Halogen, therefore I would take these at $800.
Is paypal ok with you ?

    Cheers

No problem shipping to France but these are not correct for a '68. The U.S. cars that year went with what we call "sugar scoops". The RoW cars used the Euro reflectors, forerunners of the H4. H1's would be correct though and the #1 choice in my opinion.

    Cheers,
    John

John, this is what I have currently installed on my 68 SWB, it is an US car, but imported to UK 4 years ago and the headlight lenses were changed to be UK compliant. I bought the car and brought it to France - the headlights setting is not correct of course. I would like to keep the same "look" but I must change the headlight setting/configuration to accomodate the driving regulations here.

I don't know the years exactly, but those the first generation of H1 lenses. I don't think they were produced for very long. They're very hard to find.
