    Correct paint for KONI shocks and struts?

    Something that is easily available. Also correct decals for 67 model year? Thank you.

    I believe Chevy engine block orange is very close.

    not sure about the struts but the koni steering damper is ral 3016 coral red

    No, It's not the Red. It is the German code for "blut Orange"

    The original "early" Koni orange is a brown-ish red. The closest out of the can would be a red oxide primer with clear coat. I had original factory Konis on my '69 011T, and I had my local paint supplier do a custom color match. Here are photos of an original date stamped '65 factory supplied Koni. Note the "PORSCHE" stamp and date stamp...also I have never seen decals on original early factory Konis. The decals came along later as an after market item, or on replacement Koni units, and they have taken on a life of their own.

    Yes. ^^^^^

    Much closer to the color found on the heater flapper valves.
    A touch up spray can of Porsche "Peru Red" is very, very close.
