    Question Dash cover?

I had another 911 owner mention he thought the dash cover on my car has been replaced, not sure if that is true, can you tell me whats different?

    yup.

but you've got to tell us what year you think your car is. The gauges, the defroster vent that goes across the width of the dash, the larger AC vent, the black windshield washer squirter, the headlight wiper switch and intermittent wiper knob tell us some details, such as, this is not an early 911S. I'm guessing mid-late 80's carrera, maybe a g50 car, 87-89.

but that round rivet-like thing on the dash is questionable, no matter what year.

I believe the plastic caps in dash are related to the tonneau (snaps) for a convertible .
I recall these from my 83 SC cab.
