what a buy that was!! Not a great comparison as that was under market. Sometimes cars for whatever reason
    go unsold.

Under market on the car would be up for debate...
It was a great car and he had it for sale for a long time...
I believe this car on this thread will ALSO be for sale a while.

Paul Abbott's car. Performance Oriented. Mayo engine and carb magic by Paul. The oil tank design is one of my favorite custom components!

No it's not a debate, I feel foolish every time I see that ad for not buying it.

Yes, Paul and his car have enough notoriety that I'm still surprised that it didn't go for more dough. Especially after seeing that 912-6 bring such stupid money on BaT a few months ago.

Just to clarify: The car being advertised here is not the one Jerry was killed in, correct?

thanks for the replys everyone. Still for sale - OBO is there if anyone has an offer that they want to make. Still feeling the way on this one. Reminder - it is a numbers matching with a spare 2.7 built motor.

Frank - no its not the one that Jerry died in. Truly a sad story. This is the one his son raced.

I also have quite a few original parts that will go with the car.
