    Thanks Chief! Here's my Sand Beige '67 912. It's all original paint (except for a few touch-ups)original interior (maybe seat covers) original engine 84,000 miles (never rebuilt). The owner kept all receipts since new, including fuel. I can follow the fuel receipts as he took it on vacation a few times back in the late 60's. I drive it a lot and it's a blast but it could use a little more power in today's traffic.Name:  1967 912 right rear view.jpg

    Hallo Fred,
    how did you treat the surface of the engine. When I wash aluminium engines the surface and the numbers look different, not so
    homogeneously. Was it a kind of ice blasting?
