What is the correct term for...

The heavy rubber-ish thick foam sound deadening (2 pieces) that are glued to the rear seat buckets?
These just came out of my 72 and judging from the weight, they are not going to be going back into the car.

    Speedo

    mass loaded vinyl? Or are you just looking for a translation of 911 556 231 01 / 911 556 232 01 into letters?

    --edit--
In case you are looking for a kinda more lightweight replacement with same/ better sound-deadening choose some strips of dynamat and a simple "artificial horsehair mat" like this:
    https://www.adms-shop.de/innenraumda...-dick-372.html

I am not an automotive engineer but I would assume the approach Porsche took was the wrong way around. They chose a layer of soft mat on the body panel covered by mass loaded vinyl instead of killing borne noise with dynamat first and then reducing the (less) vibration resulting from it with a thicker layer of sound-deadening...

Thanks for the response. I am not going to replace these. From Porsche they are apparently NLA. They served their purpose 40 years ago. For the parts-specific restorers I was looking for the correct definition so I can post these for someone looking to restore to original. I like the engine noise...
