    Play of door lock

my driver door lock works not properly.

the snap rotates and holds in position, but it is some kind of loose. I can tilt the snap sideways and push in direction of the door.

too much play, or? any chance to repair?

Finally got a nice and new plated door lock with 911.531.053.02.
old spare parts catalogue list this one correct for 11/71-9/72

details of the different latches are shown here:

    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ferrerid=29735
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ferrerid=29735

    for the books

    MY 69 901.531.053.23
    MY 71 911.531.053.00
    MY 71 911.531.053.00
    MY 72 911.531.053.00
    MY 72.5 911.531.053.02
    MY 73 911.531.053.04

but I found also later than 8/72 stamped .02, so they produced them for spare parts even when .04 had been mounted
