    Help needed identifying toolbags

    Hi all,

Having owned a few 911’s, 912’s and 356’s left me with quite some toolbags.

I would love to know whether they are original and if so, what type of porsche it belongs to.

Roughly I have 4 different versions (not all on the picture)

    1 bags with a leather strap (356?)
2 black plain with push buttons to close
3 black with a ‘crocodile’ structure with ‘slide clips’ to close
4 black with basket weave structure and slide clips to close

If somebody could help it would be great.

The green bag is a reproduction of a 356A tool bag. The grey one looks like an original for a 62 on 356 T6B with blond handled screw drivers and hubcap puller.

Why didn't the tools go with the cars when you sold them?

    Hi All,

Thanks a lot for the replies. This really helped.

@ejboyd5: most cars were sold with a complete set/repro set. Also bought extra sets in the past and a few cars were sold to me with double toolsets. This is what 30 years of porsche ownership left me with (besides some cars as well).

@Omar: Would consider it but first I need to identify what's it the set and whether the set is original

    Thanks, frank

The grey 62 bag has 63 tools. 62 tools cost a small fortune, 63 much smaller fortune.
