If you just search on this forum or on the birds’ forum you will find quotes like:

It is just another reference which might further be fine tuned over time, but at elferclassic.de you will find:

I looked at elder-classic.de website from post#12 and it shows #335 being for '74/75 for gemini blue metallic.
How does one explain #335 being on a MY'73 built in Oct. '72?

That’s why I say that the site will probably be further fine tuned. It was just to show that all codes refer to the same colour: 330=335=8610=8686=L96E (Volkswagen)

We know that 330 was used on model 1972 and 335 on model 1973.
    I had the same story: I have a model 1973 (Nov 1972 production) with 230 and a friend has a model 1972 with 224.

Even this book should be corrected for a next print ”The 911&912 Porsche - A restorer’s guide to authenticity - Dr. B. Johnson”:

There is a lot of incorrect information available, please be aware.

Compliance decals are on NA (Canada & USA) delivered cars. We are a highly integrated market, so most cars are much the same with a few differences. Canada had it's own Owners Manuals and Maintenance books.

Gemini Met. 335 is surely a revised formulation of 330. Based on my data it does look like 335 was introduced for model year 1973, but I would like more data for the crossover months June through September 1972; the VIN and the full 33x-y-z from the badge. All my data suggest -9-3 for -y-z

By “completed” do you mean paintwork? If so, what brand and vendor formulation code are you going with? I am getting ready to have my 73 911 with code 335-9-3 painted. I want to go with a mixture that compares well to the original.
