Lug nut color on 73S, err why are mine silverish?

So I just sent out my Fuchs to be refinished with Rick since that was the one of the last items that needed to be redone on my '73S. I asked Rick if he refinished lug nuts and he just said to buy new ones.

So as I was looking for new lug nuts to buy, I came to the realization after 24 years of ownership, that I have natural aluminum finished lug nuts and not the black ones that everyone else has. My car seems to be an odd ball, it had an aluminum decklid and license plate panel that appear stock, and it has a 911S glove box emblem. Maybe those were factory installed to get rid of parts in May 1973 before the change over.

All this to ask, what cars came with non-black lugs? I see silver ones sold. I am trying to figure out why mine has them. It looks like a PO had that wheels redone at one point, could he have had the nuts bead blasted to the natural finish? I have attached a picture. I guess I should get some new black ones. Any recs on where to get them?

    Thanks,
    Neil
