    Freshly Cleaned and Calibrated Gauges...

I picked up my ‘68 911L this afternoon after having all of my gauges cleaned and calibrated by North Hollywood Speedometer. They did a fantastic job, and while they were out I finally fixed all of the wiring and bulbs for each gauge. This is the first time in 5 years that the clock actually works

Driving the way Dr. Ferry Porsche intended while all the other gauges were getting cleaned up...

It’s so satisfying to have refreshed gauges. I did mine a few years back and it really tuned up the cockpit.
    Enjoy!

Thanks gents, I'm thrilled with how they came out. North Hollywood really did a fantastic job on these. I actually had the tach done last year (hence why it was the only gauge left in the cluster while the other 4 were getting cleaned up), but by the time I reinstalled it, it made the other 4 gauges look pretty ratty. I told them to clean and calibrate only, as I wanted to keep the patina on the needles and the gauge faces. Even though some of the color on a few of the needles has faded away a bit, I didn't want any of that redone. I also replaced the speedo cable while everything was out, and I'm now able to use the trip for the first time in over 15 years .

I've been driving it to work all week (25-mile highway commute each way from northern suburbs to downtown), and it's so gratifying to have everything working the way it should and looking fresh again!

Now I Need to Get My Dash Knobs to Light Up Again!

I’m loving my new gauges, but now that they look so good it makes it even more obvious that none of my 3 dash knobs (Blower, Fogs and Hazards) light up. I hope it’s just burnt out bulbs, so I’ll start there first. I bought 10 extra bulbs when I had my gauges cleaned up, so I’ve got what I need there.

What’s the best way to access the bulbs on these 3 knobs to swap them out? Do I access them from under the dash or from the frunk? Sorry for the basic question and thanks for your help on this

From the trunk ,,,or remove speaker cover and speaker. (I think that is easiest)
