    SEV Marchal Voltage Regulator timeline

    Searched for the correct SEV Marchal Voltage Reglator and made a timeline for the records

    There are at least two correct SEV regulators and two later ones that works in early 911.






    901.603.206.10 72 XXXX 02 -68 40A/70A 490/900W metal?black?, ?single spade connectors?
    901.603.206.11 72 4161 02 69-73 55A 770W metal silver, single spade connectors
    911.603.901.00 72 7115 02 74, 75 (only Carrera 2,7) 55A 770W plastic black or grey, 90 degree mounted, single spade connectors
    911.603.206.13 72 7147 02 75-(not 2,7 Carrera) 70A 900W plastic black or grey, 90 degree mounted, three spades connector

    69-73 is correct based on my research. SEV Marchal in ROW and SEV Motorola in the US/Canada market. Ditto for the alternators. Exact same part though, just the stamping on the case was different.

    Yes. At the time there was a sensitivity to French companies in the US, so Motorola was the brand used in North America, but it it absolutely identical.

    will a 901.603.206.11 (72 4161 02) silver cap SEV regulator work with a later MY76 70A alternator 71233002?

    Its only a voltage regulator and the max amper is limited to the construction of the alternator. So it should work, or?
