Posting a car for sale with no price and an inquire is awful, I have never done that and never would. I dislike seeing a car waved in front of everyone where we don’t know what the number is. Big dealers do this and I have worked for some of them. Often it is a way to jack up the price on a consignment without the owner knowing so the dealer can get more than the owner thinks they are getting.

For me it is about active sales pricing, if the car is on the market then it requires a price. If off the market then the price is not relevant to some parties. It is my point of view of course and everyone has different motivations.

Love this forum and appreciate the work those that moderators do. They have final say and do a good job of a middle ground.
