    MLB Red Sox sweep Yankees

A walk off single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth capped off an incredible weekend for the Red Sox stunning the Yankees. As a life long Red Sox fan it doesn't get better than this. Now they are up 9 1/2 games on the Yanks in the AL East. There is still a long way to go but what a series for Sox fans. The Yankees are down Judge and Sanchez but the Sox are dinged up as well. I'll be at Fenway for two with the Indians in couple of weeks. Can't wait. This whole thing can change quickly so enjoy it while you can if you are a Red Sox fan.

As a lifelong Red Sox fan this season is a hoot. My first MLB game in person was at Fenway Park. It was a day game and I will never forget walking out of the concourse into the stadium. It looked like a cathedral to me. I remember listening to Ted Williams last game on the radio and his unforgettable last at bat.

This season has been a real treat so far. The BoSox absolutely dominated the hated Yankees.

    Cheers,
    John

I was in Boston for a month for a project, which finished last weekend. I got to see the Red Sox beat the Twins in extra innings at Fenway before I left. Very fun. Congratulations.

Another Red sox fan here. yes this Yankees series was unbelievable. I was at the game when Ted Williams hit his last home run and was a classmate of Tony Conigliaro in high school.

Why did my post get deleted? Do you know there is a baseball team in DC; the Washington Nationals! They are a disaster this year. Get a life.
