Well I appear to have hit another dead end. Spoke to Tony at Autobahn who told me he can’t find any more of that particular fabric. A customer had the material at the time to use for his seats and has none left. Tony would love to find more of it as many customers have inquired since he did those seats.

Maybe I will get better news from Stefan at GTS if he ever calls me back. Thanks

Suggest you order a sample from the Scottish weaver. I know the white ST photographed earlier, and I’m 99% sure the material came from them

Regarding the weight, my seats have 12oz wool from the Scottish Weaver (Buchanan). Seats were done a couple of years back by Vintage Seats...they reinforced the wool with some kind of backing...no problems after all these years, no fraying or tearing.

Good to know. Thanks. Stefan at GTS Classics has been very helpful in my search. I think I’ve narrowed it down to this fabric. Not exactly the one I was looking for, but damn close.
