    Which knobs are correct for a 1968 Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio ?

    To the extent it is possible, it is probably more helpful to specify the Series of the radio than the year of the car, especially when it comes to knobs. For example series W was 1965/66; X was 66/67; Y was 67/68, etc. Thus a particular 1967 car might have either an X series or a Y series, and the knobs/tone controls were different between these radios. Additionally, some fair number of radios were added later by dealers and could have come from an earlier year's leftover inventory, or newly arrived (e.g. later series) inventory. Using the Alphabetical Series number on the paper tag, passengers side of radio, helps to pin things down.

    Thanks Mike. According "Vintageblau" are these a 1968 one year only knob for 911. Is that correct?
