I have those, but just to make sure, what is your application model, year and using original drive flanges. Maybe pix. Gordon
trans is '69 going into a SWB car. flanges are 901.332.209.12 '68 type. I was told to upgrade from the original "nipple" bolt to the type pictured above.

Did you put the little block into your diff to stop it flying apart? 911-332-208-00.
The nipples do serve a purpose as evidenced when they fail.

Brad Mayeur built the trans for me several years ago. I assumed that installing it in a '66 car would not be an issue. (ha, ha)
I sent a pic to Matt Monson & he said that the diff had been upgraded. he sold me the flanges & said to get rid of the nipple bolts. he sent one bolt, but that's all he had.

The bolts I have are either 75mm or 77mm. These bolts are always used with washers as pictured. Gordon
after more careful measurement the one bolt I have is closer to 78mm. your 77mm seems the best match.
how should we proceed ?

I'll pm u.
I didn't measure the nipple bolts I have but can you simply cut the nipple off and be good to go? Take note these are a stretch bolt also, does anybody have a NOS one to confirm the original unstretched length?

I just measured one of these with the nipple. 76mm under the head to the end of the thread. Just cut off the nipple and you're good to go.
