We are getting ready to undercoat my car and are ironing out the last questions we have with regard to how the factory approached this.

It appears that the undercoating was applied to the rear seat area of the car before paint. From studying my car it appears that the undercoating underneath the car and inside the front and rear compartments was applied after the car was painted. Is this correct and does it match with other people's observation?

On the 356's the undercoating was applied before paint leading to factory overspray which got blacked out in the most visible area's but not everywhere. It seems that the order was reversed for the 900 series cars.

Many thanks for your input,

JK
