    LWB Door Pockets-Originals or Repros

Finishing 2 very nice LWB S's and having a dilemma deciding whether to buy new repro door pockets or make due with the originals. I purchased the trim kit and had the originals recovered but as everyone knows the fit on the door is hard to get right. I have read other threads but they are mostly from 4-5 years ago and today a lot has changed. So curious to get opinions and ideas on this subject. I am sure I am not the only one dealing with this issue. Both cars are top shelf restorations and matching#'s. All thoughts and ideas appreciated.

Personally, I'd only use the real stuff on top-flight cars. I've seen all the repros. Some are OK. But the Porsche stuff is better. Tony at Autobahn can work wonders with these parts if necessary.

Show cars or investment grade you should use originals. For everything else, repros are just fine and often sturdier.
