    Does the engine still turn freely all the way through 2 cycles? Are the carburetor linkages and throttle flaps still moving freely? Is there any way you could tip the engine and take a photo from underneath to be sure there are no surprises? Any damage to the engine from bottoming out or anything else you have noticed? Is there still oil in it?

    no oil, I took the sump plate offf and checked the sump floor for debri, just oily sludge..yes to all else...I will take more photos .. it was bought for a 914 con. running , my friend
    did not u do it , I bought the engine ...has been stored dry , since.

    rotated 3 revs by flywheel even comp. carbs one down and spring return,,dry stored
