    Gold or silver interior script?

Restoring a '66 911. Had the car for 30 years and have finally gotten around to "cleaning" it up. Issue is the script "911" on our wood dash is silver. We just thought it was faded because all the exterior script is gold. An internet search shows kits available with gold exterior script and silver interior script available so it must be a thing. Sierra Madre says that up to ser. # 305010 the interior script was gold. Our 911 is #303664 meaning, if SM is to be believed, the script should be gold. Anyone know an official source for when the transition point actually was and what our script color should be?

Cars at or near 301 000 had silver dash 911 scripts.

At car 305 101 the font style changed from script (angled) to the block letters. No mention of color in the parts book.

Guys, sorry for the late response. Haven't checked the blog in a while. Sounds like the consensus is that silver is correct. Thanks!
