Source for engine cover grill screen?

Does anyone know of a source for the expanded metal screen material that mounts under the engine cover grill on SWB models. We are restoring a '66 911 and our grill is in great shape but we are missing the mesh screen that is attached to the bottom side. Replacements are NLA so I thought we would fabricate one.

    Grille screen

Some years ago screen had been located and shipped for Early S and Pelican members here from Europe. Somebody may have some yet today.
It was expanded Aluminum and appears to have been a standard in most EU hardware stores.

Porsche lid screens came in two sizes.

The opening dimensions - for your info:
    12 x 6 mm on the 1965 thru 1968
    18 x 6 mm for 1969 >

Found some 1100 aluminum expanded mesh .04" X .3" at McMaster-Carr. Not exact but reasonably close. Now I only need to find the edge material and the attachment rivets.

I believe the '65 style is still available. Found some locally but off by 1mm in size https://www.autostyle.nl/nl/foliatec...-ft-34727.html
