    Question about different 7” Fuchs

    I have two pair of 7x15 Fuchs.
    First set - 911 361 020 11, date 10 74
    Second set 911 361 020 01, date 12 72

    Is there any difference between the wheels other than the stamped numbers?

    Maybe the diameter of the center cap hole?

    +1. The '74 take the circle friction caps and the '72 take the 3 prong center caps.

    Chance that the pre 74 wheels area bit lighter, this counts at least for the 8x15.

    The circle rim that the centre cap fit's into is also thicker on a pre-74 wheel. Dead giveaway that an ST doesn't have the right expensive wheels when the caps are left off.

    the pre 74 "three prong" wheels are lug centric and aren't all of the 74+ wheels hub centric?

    For my 914-6 GT tribute, either is fine. I'm not a date code, part number, correct finish person. I just want it to look good in my eyes. I was just curious about the difference in part numbers.

    and the pre-74 (3-prong) wheels are worth a heck of a lot more.

    Part numbers for reference

    7J x 15 71-7/73 === 911.361.020.01
    7J x 15 7/73-76 === 911.361.020.11
    7J x 15 77-83 === 911.361.020.41
