Completely price-less bump for Mike Shaver,
but only after he divulges the amount of progress on his car to date.

okay, another free bump for tonypro....

'68 911 #0001 progress stymied by problems with the wiring harness, but we are working through them. TonyPro managed to fire the engine a few weeks ago, which was a bit emotional, really ... 35 years of sleep brought to an end was a moment of rejoicing. we continue to shake down the electrical stuff. we found a fuel leak and are in the process of eliminating it. preparing to begin installation of the interior. hope to resume articles soon.

thanks for asking, but don't want to hijack a good ignition for a good price by a good seller.

The bezel on this switch doesn't belong with it and should be sold separately. The bezel is for a US delivered 65/66 911 or 912, pretty rare piece. The switch is for a late 67 thru 69 US car. Another free bump

The weird thing is the bezel wouldn’t fit on any of the other switches I had one of those was a 65/66 switch. The threaded part measures 22mm. Thanks for the input

There are basically 2 size threaded barrels. Non-locking (US and RHD cars) have the same size barrel. All the locking switches from the very beginning have a larger barrel and obviously take a different bezel. The opening for the key differs in some, as well, but we'll save that for a different day. Frank made a nice purchase from a good guy. Well bought and well sold.

    Regards

    Thanks Jim.

The real frosting is that I paid 100 bucks for it.
