    Early 901 1964 Engine with Solex Carbs and Air cleaner 900222

    SOLD SOLD SOLD. Thanks. This is a very nice engine that was running less than 2 years ago. It turns over freely at this time. Email me for a video of the engine turning. It was running with Weber’s when I got it. They have since been removed. A core set of Solex carbs and air cleaner were placed on the engine. I would go through this 901 engine before installing it in a car. I would also have the Solexes rebuilt. I would say that this is a 95% complete engine. Hard Pierburg Fuel lines are missing. Maybe a few other very small items. This engine was originally installed in car # 300106 on Nov 23rd 1964, there whereabouts are unknown.

    Do you know what is inside that engine? 911SC heat exchangers on an engine that early make me suspicious. But what an awesome find, very awesome! It even has the correct early 64 only rounded lower valve covers!
