Thread: red engine shroud

    red engine shroud

When did the MFI engine shroud change from the full gray back with rivets one piece(meaning you had to take the whole thing off or cut it to service the oil cooler, to all red back and just the oil cooler cover was gray and a separate piece? Was it 1973, because I've seen 1972s with the gray back?

Does it add value or take away value that your numbers matching car motor spec is now a 2.7 instead of 2.4? It looks beautiful by the way.

My Feb '73 also looks just like that (albeit with a more faded red/orange than Chuck's photo).
