5 years- Glad to see someone is realistic. Better send your wheels to Harvey now so they’re done in time.

Should be a rewarding project. I would suggest you get that front cooler off ASAP and ship to Pacific Oil Coolers. If it’s bad you’ll want plenty of time to find a replacement.

    BTW: Nice little workshop.

    Beautiful looking car!

The paint already looks great on that car. Does it really need a respray?

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

    Interesting finishes on your car --- w/the blacked-out bumpers + rear license panel . . .

    . . . very 'period'

Actually seen that particular treatment only once before --- in some vintage pics of 9111300499 aka 'Patrick' . . .

. . . any thoughts about leaving all that finish in-place? Any idea as to when it was done + by whom?

And any more details to share? --- like the VIN, previous owners + history, how you found it, etc, etc, etc

It’s been sleeping in a shed in New England for the past 15 years and needs to be restored back to original as much as possible. New seats, rear deck lid, rear license plate panel, bumpers, interior, wheels, strip, paint, running gear overhaul etc will be required. Very solid body with nominal rust (hopefully) matching numbers etc. Should be a fun 5 year plus project. A couple of shots...

Yes, 5 years is a very honest estimate on what it takes to do a car, looks like you got a good one.
