Thread: lets talk E types

    lets talk E types

so its clear to me by watching Goodwood Revival for years, that the E type is a very capable and respected track worthy car. It has good pace and good power besides its great looks. it responds to hot rodding and mods very well.

But yet here in the states its R gruppe /hot rod presence is very limited

i was wondering if it has an r gruppe /mods presence anywhere.....say more like a 911 here?
Do u see hot rodded cars on the streets in the UK and Europe?

Local shop did a full rotisserie of and E which was finished this year. Stunning car. E-Types like most British cars are about torque. The E is truly a monster. You are pushed back in the seat when the whip is cracked.
I was fortunate enough to get a ride when it was done. A T5 gear box and a nicely "tuned" engine. 5th gear makes it a very relaxed ride at legal speeds on the Interstate.

The car was as tight as any Mercedes or Porsche I've been in. As far as looks go, the couples have the convertibles covered; literally.

You can buy them ready to go.
https://www.eaglegb.com eagle is kind of singer for e-types.
On the other Hand are a couple of companies mostly in the uk that prepare FIA Compliant Low Drag e types as well as race prepped but stock looking ones.
