Octoberfest (Coffee and Doughnutfest) in Emeryville. Sat, Oct 6

We are alive and well and looking forward to a big turnout at the old EASY in Emeryville.
    EASY
    4060 Harlan St.
    Emeryville, Ca. 94608.
Fresh Ground, fresh brewed Coffee and plenty of Doughnuts to go around.
A word to the wise. We do tend to run out of doughnuts later in the morning.
This is the official meeting place of the Northern California contingent of RGruppe and also the official meeting place to the NorCal Early911SRegistry clan.
Everyone is invited and all makes and years of Porsches are welcome. We don't turn any one away but if you need to come in your Prius, we ask that you park it on Park St in frot of Pixar and not on Harlan St proper. This is a gathering of Porsche owners and Porsche fans. We get going around 8AM and go till everybody leaves. Most of the action seems to happen between 9 and 11. Bring you camera, kids, dogs, significant other, casual acquaintance or even your cool "other" car. This a "rain or shine" event. Now that the building is empty, standing out of the rain is pretty EASY. Come check out the progress in the restoration of the building. It's going to be very cool!

    Regards

    Jim

It's a bit late, but yes it is. We had a nice turnout and a spectacular fall day in Emeryville.
Again, sorry for the late reply. By 8:15 this morning there were 40 or 50 cars parked outside and many more on the way and I was brewing pots of coffee as fast as I could.

    Regards

    Jim

    Thanks Jim,

I did show up but a little later, not until 10. Sorry I missed you.

I did get to meet some of the people (I was the guy with the long white beard for those who I met at the gathering) and will definately come the next time I am in California.

    Hi Jim
Any early S activities planned for the Christmas holidays? Visiting my son in SF from NC and would like to see what your air cooled group is driving?
    Thanks Jim Duffield
