If I'm having a melancholy day and can't sip a frosty all I have to do is think of the above thread. The smile/smirk it puts on my face is generated by a combination of shock and wonder as to how an adult male can be so thin-skinned.

Hope Chris comes back; I reached out to him but it was crickets as one might expect.

It’s a real shame that people feel intimidated on the forum... what some see as banter, others see as bullying; I don’t think any form of bullying (intentional or unintentional) has a place on the forum; perhaps people should self-regulate a little more rather than relishing the fight: it changes the tone of the forum for the worse.

Sad to see Chris depart... I enjoyed his posts and the fact he shared his knowledge and expertise here...

Frank, don't know you, never met you. Hear from others you are a decent guy who's good at what he does. Fact is though that this is not your workshop, nor are you speaking to employees or friends. So show a little respect to those you don't know personally.

Everyone appreciates that you and others share your collective wisdom, but let your expertise speak for itself. Belittling others only takes away from that.
