    W: project car

Now that my son is reaching the age of actually being interested in his father's Porsches, he has been bugging me to find a project for us two.
With the super silly laws regarding import and registration in Switzerland, I am somewhat limited. So with that, I am looking for a project car:

Pre-'74 coupe, matching numbers, or correct engine type. Max 35-40K $.

I can do and manage about everything, up to the point of re-making shell parts that are not availabel commercially. Of course the better condition and more complete the better.
If I can choose (beggars are not choosers), then a 2.2 would be tops, but about anything pre-74 would rock my boat.
I'll also need the seller's help to put it on a pallet or in a container, or to drive it on the cargo boat.

    Shoot.

    Hi Bob,
Actually, no. I have an impact bumper car already. Unless yours is one of a kind in spec, then I'd prefer to concentrate on an early car for now.
    But thank you.

Many thanks to all who sent me messages with interesting cars. You all make this place what it is.
I have closed a deal with our own Frank, and will be receiving a '69 E to rebuild in Rotterdam (can you say road trip?).
If you think I am happy, wait 'till you see my son.

Congrat's Great Buy! Having all the metal work completed gives peace of mind. That other car was a nightmare.
