    I was thinking more along the lines of someone outside of Porsche building cases....

    They're claiming that they will have a test engine running in December. Should be interesting.

    So the FIA are in agreement with the fact that Magnesium cases are no longer produced or readily available so they are HAPPY with Ali cases ??

    Personally I believe you are delusional in thinking they will be accepting of a billet style 911 engine case when there are 100,000's of existing aliminium cases of the similar era and design available.

    Really, ??
