    From FIA Appendix K.

    Engine
6.4.1 The engine components and ancillaries must be of period
specification, must be of the same make, model and type fitted
and conform to a manufacturer’s specification for which period
    evidence exists.

Also-- a 66mm Kurbelwelle is only a 6-bolt version, except for the rare 956 version, or you would need a 3,0 Carrera case. Or you could make a custom, 9 bolt, 66mm kurbelwelle, expensive but possible. This has been done a long time ago:

    EXACTLY - Thank you.

Curious to know if you've done any testing on the material in terms of thermal expansion properties in relation to the original mag and aluminum cases from Porsche.

Glad to see you're making the effort, but shouldn't the case look a little more original to qualify for FIA vintage racing? You know, to preserve the illusion that these are vintage racecars? If you're going through all this work to make the case, a few more lines of code could really help with the visual presentation of the part and, you know, help with convincing people to open the checkbook.
