Lots of zeros always interesting.
However, I still think it’s worth more as a fully prepped race case.
I agree Frank going into my 914-6 but I also know you want to be part of Sporto history. I'll trade you for another case and one of those Pauter cranks!

Red Book lists engine serial numbers for '68 US market Sportos as 3380001 - 3380464. Apparently this is the first.

Apparently no one does or ever did. This number doesn’t show up as having actually been installed in a car during production.
They should have quit while they were ahead.
