    For the interest of “Sportoholic hall of fame” and helping out our fellow member in researching

    It was the R3 with chassis 307671S , driven by Vic Elfort,Joschen Neerpasch and Hans Herrmann
    The R3 with sportomatic transmission won the 1967 Marathon de la route after 6148 grueling miles
    on the most demanding circuit in the world, won clear 34 laps.

    wait I've been in the dark the last week. I need to build a car around this case??

    Frank I've yet to see any of my 10 fan boys yet?? 10's not bad either might be a little optimistic no?

    I'm a little confused , didn't that car use a 906 engine?

    From what I gathered this case was from a 68L?

    307671s had engine 961136 fwiw. does that mean they were cheating by not installing a sporto engine?
