    I wash mine when ever the bug splatters turn into mould, car has some rust so I dont care about washing method.

    If you have a detailer spray, a window cleaner and a couple of microfibre clothes in the trunk, you can regularly remove the spots or bird droppings and clean your windshield. You'll see you don't have to wash your car as often.
