Is this "elephant hide" seat material?

Hi Everyone, I have this seat bottom which appears to be elephant hide seat material for 68's. What do you think? I want to sell the item but I want to represent it honestly.

    Thanks
    Mike

    Mike,
It sure looks like it, but the stuff is as rare as unicorn horns and I have never owned Elephant hide seats or interior panels etc, check this earlier listing out as a comparison

There were some tool bags made out of the OP material also it was punched. Someone also thought they had the uber rare elephant hide bag.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
