I wonder when was the last time that a car that was offered for sale here was actually picked up by an earlySreg member/user. GLWS to the OP. Beautiful car.

Few and far between! GLWS Freddie, beautiful car.
Good morning and happy Sunday to you. Woke up to some fresh brewed Costa Rican coffee. I see there has been more “let me feel good and important” chatter.
Mojito from down under, let me shut you up also and stomp on your pride a little if I may. I will extend my challenge to you as I have to Julie. What’s more, both you and Julie can join forces. Let’s see how well you both know your way around Porches. Do you really know them as you claim? My car awaits you! Talk is cheap on this forum. Can you put out a perfect restoration? Mojito from down under, many are reading this thread with great interest to see if you can put your skills into action.

This has my interest. This might out do the comments on Jimbo's Bahama Yellow 67S sunroof. This 67 is out-of-control nice & will surely sell.

Too many Porsches and one VW are starting to fill up my desert landscape.

Freddie, it's all about your initial post, I hope you understand that part of it. Your car shows fantastically well and is probably restored to a very high standard, but all your claims just can't be backed up just based on the pictures you posted of the car.
Moito is probably the wrong guy to challenge on originality. Or you may try your luck with Karim. Dress warmly.
helpful link: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ighlight=gauge and I may have a fuel gauge in my stash for you.

well i prefere working on my own..and yes this challenge would be really tempting...but there is several reasons why i cant`t do this.
i`m booked for the next years with 911 restorations.
i don`t know anything about 911 engines and transmissions (which i never claimed)and i don`t have the motivation to learn this.so i would need to find someone doing this job perfect.
i don`t have the money to pre-finance such a project..just bought a house in one of(like geographical illiterates call it)down unders ,most expensive cities..(if it is only dyslexia we have something in common)
to restore a 911 to perfect condition usually costs way more than it is worth at the end...in this special case i would certainly think 3 or 4 times about every detail and not only twice...and even with winning your car it could turn out to be a financial desaster.(who knows what your resto will be worth at the end..)
i`m sure there is some more reasons like my dong is smaller ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ky8G17cNNkk )than yours(but certainly harder) or my pride is not as pronounced as yours etc.etc..
off topic:
where is the webasto?
and what happened to the fuel tank?
have a few more details for you

Mojito from down under, your words are cheap. If you were as cavalier to photoshop my true picture, I wonder what you do to your own restored cars. You appear to be well versed in the hobby. My car is not perfect and never have I claimed such on this car or any other. Sorry Mojito you poked on the wrong bear.

Freddie, please insult Moito correctly. He's from AUSTRIA, not Australia. Or perhaps that is the insult. I'm not well versed in international barbs.
Please continue...

Austria is where the Porsche car comes from. Gmund Karnten. I would love to ski there one day; perhaps see the Hahnenkhamm-Rennen. The Streif.
