One thing i enjoy here is the knowledge. Stuff i would never think to look for etc. I learn it all here. It is a big help to my restorations.
It becomes almost a game when somebody post a picture of their car. Everybody immediately starts naming the items that are not correct.

Although it might be hard for somebody selling or showing the car, it does help the buyers who are part of this community and also helps those looking at other cars for a more educated eye.

I willing take any and all critism from the forum members here. In the name of preservation.

I too like the critiquing (so long as it's moderately civil -- and correct). I think it helps those who are interesting in either purchasing the current offering or another in the future. I wish I had read a few more critical "for sale" threads before I jumped into my first P-car purchase.

FWIW, I really like this car and I think it's a relatively good deal on a very pretty restoration.

The pessimists only see an incorrect latch panel. I see a free car and a discounted restoration for 150k! GLWS Freddie. Great car and quality for the money.

eagles nest actually is in germany ...close to the border to austria...about 20km away from my house.
visiting the nest and the exhibit center is well worth a visit but don`t expect to walk away frolicking.

jep-let me think about the house swap...

Nice to see this Thread becoming more friendly...

We are now entering the Airbnb house swapping in lieu of vehicle detailing stage of this For Sale Advert.
