    will a Batwing horn fit on a 400 mm steering wheel?

    Hello,

    Must have been addressed a thousand times, but I have a steering wheel that measures 400 mm. (probably from a 914?, but not sure).

    Will the early Batwing horn (the SWB type) fit on the steering wheel?

    My impression is that 42 is standard 1965-1968, 40 comes in later in 1969? the latter still fits the batwing but just, and the 38 would be too small?

    Here is a photo of my 68S steering wheel (I believe 42) taken from our website.
