Yellow marks could indicate a rebuild, I've used both places, Hans has done several for me, not as backed up as Gus. See if the rack is free, if so I'd try running it first. I've gotten many pumps woken up as long as the rack is free.

I had H&R do mine last month. It was returned to me in just a few days.
Yes Hans is quite a character. He's East Coast for sure, on Longggggg Island, NY- And I like that.
Aaron Burnham replaced the throttle shaft bushings for me. He did a fantastic job. Bronze!
After tedious straightening of the six throttle butterfly shafts I've got the the throttle bodies working nice and snappy.
Why Bosch didn't follow Solex's lead with a pair of common throttle butterfly shafts for each bank is lost on me.
Maybe Rube Goldberg stopped in and designed the MFI linkage and the protractors to set it.
I do intend to keep the old-school lightweight K&N air cleaners I use now for that nice roar over 4500 RPM.
A nice set of red tall-boy velocity stacks and no air cleaner might turn heads at Cars & Coffee. Purdy.
I do not want to reuse that huge stock air cleaner tank on top of the stacks. It is ugly and HEAVY.
I'll do without the cold start squirters and remove and cap the cold start squirter solenoid.
From my perspective that squirter enrichment system looks precarious.
Six squirters? I'm over sixty and am well aware of a single squirt gone awry! SIX? No thanks.
In my world, if it doesn't start with the rack enrichment alone its too cold for Dawn Patrols.
Has anyone seen an elegant design for the crankcase breather with an old-school light weight stamped aluminum K&N setup?
I've seen plenty of cobbled up stuff- My one-year-only '69 oil tank breather is now simply a clear tube with a ball of bronze wool in it to keep critters out.
I installed it over five years ago and the bronze is still clean red.
It doesn't smoke, leak or blacken- but there is a little blow-by smell with the heat on.
If I don't find an elegant plumbing solution to the air cleaners I'll likely just vent the tank overboard through the engine tin.
Slower traffic please keep right!
