    02 sensors fittings

Repairing the heat exchangers on a 70 911T as a section of the 1 1/2 OD tubing was rusted through and I found 1 1/4 EMT was a exact match for this tubing, bent it with a EMT bender to the identical angle as the rusted section, zipped the piece out, plan on TIG,ing the new section in shortly, My question is there any advantage to adding 02 sensor ports just ahead of the silencer in the exchangers while i do the TIG work, Maybe for using a 02 meter to set the Zeniths,?
