Bike transport on a SWB ?

    Greetings,

I have to travel a bit with my BMX and my SWB. As the bike cannot get into the cockpit, the only option I guess is on the roof.
    Any preferred setup ?
    Pics are welcome.

BTW, I do have Eric AFS roof rack.

    Cheers
    Xavier

The Seasucker set up works well - if this photo uploads it is my road bike on my 356. I've mounted it on other porsche models too (911, 964, 997)

Great Stuff, thanks - that might be the way, indeed.

Cheers, pic is self explanatory - is there any issue with the marking on the roof/paint ?

No issues as far as damage to the paint from the suction cups - it is a little unnerving to drive at high speed with the bike up there, but I have done long 100+ mile drives at 70-80mph with no problems. The only issue is when I mounted the front portion on a sunroof - the roof would flex... But we just moved the mount back and bit and it was game on. They rarely go on sale - but even at full price it is well worth it.

+1 to Seasucker. SWB takes my CX bike to races all season long. Fork mount goes on the rear window, wheel mount goes on engine cover, front wheel in the trunk. Enjoy!
