I came across that post awhile back searching, I check Ebay all the time, just not right then. I was given a plastic VW version by Will Dennis’s son who has some dealerships in Columbus, but the metal frame is what I am hoping to find someday.

I bought my car from the porter that delivered it when it was new when he was 17, he found it years later and recognised the unique color. I am now restoring it less than a mile away from where the dealership was located.

This is how it looked when I found it, bad body work but it was numbers matching, totally complete and I drove it homeE3281223-C915-4824-A48A-D3A3EAE103AE.jpg

This is how it looks now, although about half way assembled. Back to original metallic green. The first owner was a surgeon that went to Notre Dame university, so my guess is that is why he special ordered it in metallic green. I have yet to find another 72 T coupe in metallic green, any way to see how many were made?33A819E0-D7BC-4090-9802-0DBA5379B1E2.jpg
