I've been in the business 40 yrs, there are some things that should be left to the pros, throttle bodies are one of those things, IMO. A properly rebuilt and synchronized set of throttles make all the difference in a good running MFI motor. G.Led
Bump before the weekend...Someone else as silly as me must have taken these apart to clean....

Nope...none of us are that silly.
Send them to Eurometrix.

30 years ago I had a blue Porsche Mechanical Injection hand book. It had a wealth of information in it. I am not sure about your particular issue. It is rare and is known to be the go to publication for this injection. It is published by Porsche.
It does not cover throttle body refurb.
As said above, this is not something to be done by a novice. There are other places besides Eurometrixs, I think Mark Jung does this also.
Some of the old timers do this in house too, very few. If the valves are not done correctly, you will never get the MFI to run well, except maybe at full throttle.

For some reason I'm not able to load his website in NJ today-
It doesn't look like you have the correct hardware.
You will want a lock-tab washer securing the nut on the butterfly shaft.
What you reference as a schorr is actually a thinner shim.
Aaron Burnham can answer all your questions and supply the parts or rebuild your throttle bodies for you.
I find it interesting that folks would post that you cannot do this without having any idea of your capabilities LoL.
This is the setup my bodies have-
1) shim
2) linkage plate
3) slotted locking tab
4) nut
Good luck and if you get stuck PM me-
Thank you very much. So its now clear that someone must have taken these apart before as mine did not have these slotted tabs. I also have been trying to reach Aaron but his website has been down. I am sympathetic to that and will keep trying.
p.s. I suspect the folks are skeptics of my abilities given all my questions! but I have fully rebuilt a 914 from the ground up, so I do have some experience, albeit much less than most here. I very much appreciate everyone here.

I have a bunch of these untouched on the shelf. If you need parts or just some info on the correct assembly, email me.
