    Rare Solex Carb ID

I’ve stumbled across a rare carb or two and was hoping someone could lend some insight. The carb/s in question is a Solex 32PII. The only info on the web that I could find was that Joe Ruiz (Mr. Okrasa) was wanting some for a gmund engine he was building. Other than that, the inter webs seem gaily null of information on these carbs.
Has anyone seen them or had experience with them? Anyone want to speculate as to what their value might be?

    Cool little carb.

    Where’d you dig those up?

If Joe Ruiz’ name came up on search you KNOW they have value. Lol

When I did a google search and Joe's name came up on the Porsche356registry, I knew I had something that was at the very least interesting. The gentleman I got it from was someone you might have ran in the same circles with. Literally. Val Haefs turneed 80 recently and raced his last laps a week and a half ago. I guess at 80 he figured it was time to hang up the suit. I bought all his Porsche parts and almost all his VW stuff but I wish I could've bought the race cars. Built in the 70s he had been racing them ever since. Unfortunately he didn't know where the carb came from. All he knew was "you thought it was that 912 carb didn't ya"
